Making History II: The War of the World gives the entire power a leader can have, to the player. This power means that after choosing the country he wants to control, the player has the ability to control every aspect of his new domain. Starting with the economy and infrastructure and ending with religion and research, the player can control one nation or a city. Because the action takes place during the World War II, the player can research new weapons, new power sources and sabotage or attack his enemies. The interesting part of the game is that these decisions will affect the story-line, therefore the game doesn’t have a fixed scenario. By using the 3D environments the player can take advantage of new conquered nations or cities, can deploy impressive troops on the battlefield, use the espionage feature on his enemies and can use the religious ideology of the new conquered population to destabilize it. Even if the game is a TBS, in Making History II: The War of the World, the player can spend unlimited time to take the decisions he wishes and calculate each step before ending his move.
